Understaffed and disappointing hash browns. Service was ok until we were done with out meal and were waiting for a check. This place is pretty small and they had a "Hiring" sign in the window, but the place definitely suffered during the breakfast rush.

Good for a quick eat. Better food elsewhere.

Great hole in the wall breakfast spot. Not the cheapest, but helpings are good sized. Place has been clean and tidy every time I've visited.

Food is incredible. Small and usually busy

Between my husband's bloody, raw steak (which, by the way, had a really weird, grainy texture.) and my butter soaked (literally dripping and ultra thick with butter) omelet, this was by far, one of the worst breakfasts we've had in a really long time AND it was ridiculously expensive. In addition to that, the chef was not wearing a beard net, the carpet was unvacuumed, there was dry urine on the toilet seat and the service was God awful. We could have complained and/or sent our food back but what's the point, the staff didn't seem to care and I highly doubt they could have improved our meal.Do yourself a favor, go to Denny's. Compared to this place, it's like eating at a 5 star restaurant and that's really saying something.P.S.Don't bring your kids here. It may make them sick.

Visiting from Pennsylvania...I ordered the same thing I order at every diner/breakfast joint I go to..sausage, onion, cheese omelette with homefries....The Breakfast House killed it!...Best I think I've ever had.Friendly service with a smile, and awesome food.If you're in the area...Eat here...thank me later.

I ordered Biscuits and gravy with a couple eggs and hashbrowns. The waitress asked if I wanted the full order or the half but I was hungry and craving the biscuits and gravy so I got the whole:-) lol That was a HUGE amount of food and they were very good! The coffee was great and my wife;'s omelette was also very good! We'll be back for sure:-)

Food was ok, scramble and their salsa was a little too southwest for me. Hash browns had good flavor but were not crispy. Service and coffee were good.

Very dissapointed. The hash browns were terrible. Tasted like pure grease. I ordered my eggs over medium and both eggs came out broken and pretty much fully cooked. Severely under staffed.. And the "homemade" cinnamon roll tasted like they bought it from Safeway.

What a disappointment! My wife ordered the Basic....hash brown were cold and bacon was far beyond chrisp. Actually it was burned black on the bottom side. She had to ask for her toast which was delivered cold and a single slice. My French toast was marginal and I made the the mistake of adding bacon for $2 and guess what it was like. Over priced joke for a for a restaurant. Beware!

My daughter was home visiting from college and she wanted pancakes and found this place online -- it said you could put anything you wanted in them. I do admit that they looked good and she seemed happy with them. My omelet was okay. I was impressed that they used red sweet peppers instead of just green. The part that really bothered me was, after I paid, I noticed the prices that had been in the menu did not jive with what was on my bill. Because of that and because I can find other breakfasts I like better I probably won't go back. The service was pretty good and friendly.

Service was way better when they first opened. They have a waitress that doesn't know what she's doing and two young boys who have the personality of a stick bringing drinks to your table. The food is still good though my boyfriend hated their French toast which isn't that hard to make.... just kind of disappointed that this once great small business is now just meh. I loved recommending this place but now have suggested other places as the food is just as good and the service is way better :(

I had the choc. Chip pancakes and the serving size was so big that i got to save half for later and at a great price! For me it was memorable to dine at the Breakfast House.

It's kind of out of the way. It was very busy when we went there. The food was pretty good, but I like other places in town better. The coffee was good though. I would maybe try it again when it's less crowded.

Excellent Monte Cristo, Yes it was slow 10min. but worth the wait. Biscuits and gravy also very good.Will be back!!

Bought the food on Uber Eats and not only were the hash browns and gravy cold, the extra eggs we ordered didn't arrive and the "poached" eggs were cooked all the way through.Food tasted fine.

Honestly looked forward to trying them out. Was not greeted when we walked in, though 3 different people made eye contact. Took about 5 minutes to even be approached and asked for drinks (makes sense havinf 5 whole tables in there and 2 servers working.) They forgot my water the entire time, never once asked how the food was, and if it wasn't for the nice older gentlemen who filled our coffee's (I'm guessing the owner) it wouldn't have been done. The food wasn't bad but didn't make it a good enough experience for us to ever return. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Wow!😡 worst place we have gone to. Not so clean, spoons where dirty and just placed on the dirty table with no napkin barrier or anything, and we waited and waited for someone to take our order and no one came. A large group came in 10 minutes after us and the waitress started taking their orders! What the heck! My wife is pregnant and needed food, we payed for the coffee that we got when we first came in (which I don't think I should have) and got up and left. Not coming back again! Very disorganized. Needs a little more professionalism.

Food was dry, but the place was nice. There was a cribbage board at our table so we could play while we waited for food.

Been here several times and it's not bad--eggs are cooked perfectly and hash browns are well seasoned albeit not quite crispy enough for my liking. Portions aren't huge with the Basic I usually get, but it's enough. Not as good as The Cottage. Comparable to Jenny's.

The hashbrown struggle is real. Read other reviews saying hash browns were bad, they're not terrible... the eggs(I had scrambled), bacon, and toast were good. prices were good, menu very simple. You can see the kitchen, which I like. Wasnt busy at 8:30 am weekday, and service was fast. Probably more of a 3.5 star, but it seems like they're trying hard to run their small local business, so I give them 4

We have been there twice now. Both times we have had wonderful food, big portions, obviously home-made, and wonderful service. Dave, the owner goes out of his way to make sure it's a great experience! This is a "home town" type of small place with awesome food!!!

Place is closed and doesn't look like it will be reopening anytime soon. The sign on the window says they will reopen after New Years!

Homemade chicken fried steak, hash browns, veggie omelette, homemade biscuits. All of it was delicious.

I didn't care to much for the food I didn't finish it at all ordered biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were crunchy and hard the hasbrowns were burned took one bite and ate half of the biscuits I was disappointed won't go back the waitress was nice but didn't check to see how the food was or if we needed anything else also the kids meal was bigger then the regular meal

My daughter and I went here today about 11:30.Someone came to our table and offered us beverages we ordered coffee. No silverware on the table asked for some to stir coffee,we waited at least 5 minutes for server to bring it ( had to remind her we still had none).We ordered sandwiches and waited for our food,and waited,no more coffee offered.After about 20 more minutes our sever came to our table and said "do you want your check or what's going on here".ok told we had never gotten our food but fine we would pay for our coffee and leave.No apologies just said the kitchen had lost our ticket.Really,there were only 3 tables with customers.Unbelievable.

Waitress was wonderful. Food was big & bold!!! We'll be back!!!

Got a gift card for this place. Breakfast was very filling. It's a little" hole in the wall" so you have to look for it but a great find.

I had a wonderful time at the Breakfast House today. My server was very cheerful and the chef was also incredibly nice and fun to talk too. My dish was amazing, I highly recommend the Chicken fried steak, the gravy is delicious. Overall, they're just really nice people. Before I left, a woman came in with no money and she looked to be in a bad place. The server was so kind and paid for her to have breakfast there.Things like that, plus the amazing food and service; I highly recommend you try this place out for yourself! And they're local which makes it all the more better to support them!
